Min Sihah al-Ahadith al-Qudsiyya is Shaykh Muhammad Awwama's curated compilation of the rigorously-authenticated qudsi hadiths — the special category of hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) reports words spoken by Allah Himself, distinct in their address from the Quran (which is Allah's speech in both meaning and exact wording) and from ordinary prophetic hadith (which is the Prophet's speech inspired by Allah). About The Author
Shaykh Muhammad Awwama (b. 1940) is a contemporary Damascene hadith master and Hanafi scholar — one of the most rigorous living authorities in the science of hadith. His Maalim Irshadiyya li-Sinaat Talib al-Ilm is a celebrated guide for serious students of sacred knowledge; his editions of classical hadith works (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba, Sunan Abi Dawud, and others) are standard scholarly references.
